This booklet is dedicated to the Assumption Cathedral built by a renowned Italian architect Aristotele Fioravanti in 1475-1479. Ceremonies of elections of grand princes, coronations of tsars and emperors and inaugurations of the leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church took place at the Assumption Cathedral. It also became the burial place of metropolitans and patriarchs.
